Welcome to the Junior Golf Association of Hawaii Portal
The Junior Golf Association of Hawaii is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Hawaii Visitor Industry Charity Walk, May 19, 2018
JGAH will once again participate in the Hawaii Visitor Industry Charity Walk which will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018.
Thanks to your participation, JGAH received $3,000 last year. $1,204 came directly from you as participants. The balance of $1,796 was awarded as a grant. We believe we can do much better than that this year.
As part of JGAH’s mission is a commitment to, "in partnership with other entities, promote community involvement and service by developing and creating a Junior Golf program that gives children the opportunities to develop as responsible and successful citizens and to promote benevolence and outstanding ethical conduct through the participation of golf activities and other organized learning experiences."
As a non-profit, we also have to find ways to fundraise in order to remain a viable organization. We had a variety of choices to choose from including hosting a fundraising golf tournament, a fundraising event like our organizing our Walk or Dinner, or selling food products (like selling cookies, or chili). However, this Charity Walk event allows us to combine both efforts into one event.
There are 3 ways you can participate. You can register as a Walker, become a Donor, or be a Volunteer. To sign up, please go to
JGAH Financial Assistance Program
The Junior Golf Association of Hawaii (JGAH) is proud to announce an initiative aimed at increasing the access, growth and development of junior golfers in Hawaii. JGAH was awarded funding by the Friends of Hawaii Charities (source of funding is the Sony Open) to provide financial support and assistance to junior golfers who want to play the game of golf by competing in locally organized golf tournaments but may not have the means to pay the JGAH membership and cost of participating in year-round tournaments. “We are thrilled that funding organizations like the Friends of Hawaii Charities support JGAH’s mission and purpose to contribute to the overall growth and development of young golfers while strengthening the game of golf,” announced Guy Moriwaki, JGAH’s President.
Qualified families may submit their application beginning March 1, 2018 through our website.

Jennie K Volunteers Needed! May 18-20
The Jennie K. Invitational (May 18-20) will soon be looking for volunteers who can help out with this tournament. The Mid-Pacific Country Club has graciously allowed JGAH to play tournaments at their private golf course for the past several years, and a great way for us to show our appreciation and support is to have our JGAH parents volunteer for shifts at this prestigious event. Therefore, if you can spare some time, please consider volunteering for a shift or two. More info to come.
